# 125 The Crash

http://www.freedocumentaries.org/film.php?id=214 on the Federal Reserve banking system, and their power.  One cannot understand U.S. government’s relationship with the business sectors, or U.S. foreign policy without understanding the role of the Federal Reserve and other national-banking systems.  They are the foundation of the 3-headed Hydra, the IMF, WTO and World Bank.

Since Bush has been president (to Jan 1, 2009):

  • Over 10 million people have slipped into poverty;
  • Nearly14 million Americans have lost their health insurance;
  • median household income has gone down by nearly $9,300;
  • over 6 million manufacturing jobs have been lost;
  • over 20  million American workers have lost their pensions;
  • wages and salaries are now at the lowest share of GDP since 1929
  • Doubles Federal debt is over $11 trillion
  • Housing bubble and collapse of banking and stock market

These International bankers and Rockefeller-Standard Oil interests control the majority of newspapers and the columns of these papers to club into submission or rive out of public office officials who refuse to do the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible government -- Theodore Roosevelt, New York Times, March 27, 1922

Global industries and financial institutions have organized to promote their cause:  a greater share of the global economy through the removal of restrictions.  Their principle methods consist of donations to political parties and politicians, and the implementation of IMF economic plans, promoted principally through treaties such as NAFTA and MEFTA. They use corporate media to sell their laissez faire economics.   Both in the developed and underdeveloped countries the reforms are the same, removal of trade, banking, ownership, labor, and commerce restrictions; the privatization of government functions (utilities, schools, military, infrastructure; and the removal of the social safety net (pensions, social security, medical insurance).  Their political donations and their corporate media have made them in most countries the dominate outside political force.  The 2008 economic CRASH is a result of revisiting the age of the robber barons.

Neoliberals are now wearing a more humane face (as they did under Clinton), but all the 3 main goals are still in place:  free trade, sell off of state assets, unrestricted flow of capital.  The IMF, WTO, & World Bank (3-headed hydra) are still operating as before.  In Europe the new face is called "GSD" (Global Social Democracy).  What we need to get out the depression is Keynesian policies as under FDR, or setting up a demand economy (having production tied to needs, with the state settting goals).

Teddy Roosevelt's advice that, "We must drive the special interests out of politics. The citizens of the United States must effectively control the mighty commercial forces which they have themselves called into being. There can be no effective control of corporations while their political activity remains."
