5. Alzheimer’s (AD), Neurodegenerative
Diseases, Salubrious Ketones Bodies (diet) and autophagy: Fasting, antioxidants vitamin C
& E, estradiol, testosterone, DHEA, uncoated aspirin 325 mg, and coconut
oil lower risk, promote healing Sex
steroids are neurotropic factors so important that the Gila cells make them in
the brain. Coconut oil: about
17% is converted to beta
hydroxybutyrate, a BDNF (brain derived neurotropic factor—promotes brain
health). Fructose and drugs that lower
metabolic activity is causal including statins and sedatives (98% of pharma’s
neuroleptic drugs); they lower ATP.
Autophagy is dependent on ATP and its switched on when insulin being
low. Most types of dementia are caused by a
decline in the cellular mechanism that clean up the tau protein and beta
amyloid, autophagy and mitophagy Other major vector causes
are delayed replacement and misfolding of collagens, excessively large, lipid
droplets, monosodium urate crystals, defective signally, causing
homeostatic-system dysfunction. Healing/prevention
requires upregulating autophagy. I would not take what pharma offers.
What
can babies tell us about Alzheimer’s 21 min, 215,000 views,
What I’ve learned, the
brain prefer ketones, that’s why a fetus is feed on ketones and why a neonate
is in ketosis when born. The ratio of
MCT : coconut oil is 35 to 20 gm/100 gm for medium chain fatty acids which are
converted to BDNF. Interesting facts
about AD and ketosis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yooNuOKsa1Q
The Alzheimer's Antidote: Can we
prevent Type 3 Diabetes? | Amy Berger, 25 min, 180,000 views, What I’ve learned,
interview with Amy Berger, starts with Gary Taubes & says what I do: the
need for beta amyloid removal, the role of insulin resistance and IDE (insulin
degrading enzyme) which with hyperinsulinemia does not do its other function of
degrading beta amyloid and tau protein. The lowering of pyruvate dehydrogenase
reduces the rate of metabolism of glucose thus lowers metabolism. Misses mitochondrial
dysfunction, she uses ketogenic
diet for treatment, says that the brain n eeds some glucose (error because it
is the blood, in the brain); was her PhD

Note: Lowering cholesterol is a surrogate accepted

The theory of oxidized cholesterol causing inflammation and plaque
formation is crapolla. Pharma has made
billions treating their cholesterol myth with statins (most of which are now off patent). Now a new patented
family of drugs is on the
market—the switch is on. The cause is
atherosclerosis which is strongly associated with the high sugar Western diet
and cigarettes damaging the endothelia cells and thereby promoting along with
insulin resistance the colonization of bacteria, the cause of the
inflammation. The fix is to reverse
insulin resistance through fasting and healthy diet which cleanses the liver--
exercise and the supplements I listed.

The Truth about Depression 97 min, 30,000, views,
BBC slick pro-drug (promotes the sales pitch given by Pharma) documentary which
argues that depression is real, affects behavior, has causes in the brain, and
needs antidepressant to fix the problem, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVLAjowFkY4 Sucks
Instead
of treating a people with a drug that makes them feel better long-term, pharma
uses fat-soluble drugs that accumulate and remain in the body, with horrible
withdrawal (very addicting), that cloud cognitive processes creating confusion,
depression, and make the patient
dependent on his doctor: they are
tranquilizers labeled as a fix (anti-anxiety,
etc.) A number of the illicit
recreational drugs perform much better than pharma’s downers: Amphetamines
for depression (as they were
legally prescribed in the 50s), marijuana and opiates for anxiety, and LSD in a
clinical situation with talk therapy for major neurosis (as done in the 60s).
The issue of compliance with treatment would vanish if downers helped the
psychiatric patients. They block dopamine, thus dull the pleasure centers of
the brain, and worse, lower metabolism.
Behavioral therapy (distinguished form CBT) has been shown to work best
for nearly all psychiatric problems.
Drugs only exasperate the problem—with a couple of exceptions--and nearly
all are not the best therapy.
As
to why there is so much drugs (reactional and psychiatric), and mental
problems: the drugs relieve boredom, and thus are a short-term reinforce. And
we are a social animal which industry
exploits through social engineering to set up peer groups and pharma controls
the practice of medicine. More
fundamental is mitochondrial dysfunction which has damaged the carefully

***** The hacking of the American Mind 33 min,
15,000 views, Prof. Robert Lustig, UCTV,
interview, he raises two points, one is the difference between pleasure which
is short term and happiness which is a state of mind and is long term. We have
through corporate media been turned
into pleasure seekers. He compares
dopamine to serotonin and explains the role of dopamine action in the brain’s
pleasure centers that create addiction through tolerance, thus requiring
greater amount for the pleasure.
Dopamine (pleasure) down regulates serotonin. Serotonin causes the state
of mind that produces
long-term happiness, short on love, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKkUtrL6B18 Long
